Hi, I'm Ben, a 39 year old anthropology PhD student. I am well travelled, open-minded, queer-friendly, and enjoy meeting new people. I love good coffee and food, seeing live performances, and being creative. At the moment I am dabbling with analogue photography. I also play the classical guitar, and am learning Taiko (Japanese drumming).
During the week I spend 2-3 days a week studying on campus and the rest working from home or in a local library / coffeeshop. I also work part time doing sessional teaching at Macquarie university.
As a housemate I am tidy, responsible and like to maintain a clean living environment. I am sociable, have a good sense of humour, and am respectful of others' space and peace.
Having a friendly and warm home life is important to me; kindness and openness are essential values for me when it comes to living together. I have good friends in Sydney and I am often out in the evenings.
