Hi! I'm Jason but most people call me Jay. I'm 21 years old and I plan on moving to Sydney to study at UNSW next year. I'll be in my last year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree. I work a Christmas casual job at Rebel Sport. My hobbies include sports (basketball), working out, reading, watching TV shows/anime and learning new things. I love to socialise and have fun, but most of my free time is spent indoors either studying or relaxing.
Important personal qualities
One important quality that I think makes a good flatmate is being considerate. Everyone has their own needs and routines that make them feel happy, such as quiet time for studying/working or relaxing, and therefore it is important to consider these needs. Doing so will help create a respectful living space where everyone can thrive. Another important ability for a good flatmate is communication. Open and honest communication is essential to address any concerns that may arise in a shared setting. A flatmate who can actively listen to others and voice their concerns is one I'd love to have around.
Food sharing and furniture
I am happy to either share food or arrange my own. I have no dietary requirements (just keep Vegemite far away from me and I'll be good). I won't have any furniture of my own.
