Hello! I'm Claire, 36 years old, and I work in early childhood full time (earliest start 7:15, latest finish 6pm). I enjoy re-watching the same handful of TV shows over and over (won't bother you with that in common areas though!), spending my free time engaging in my hobbies (writing, puzzles, chatting with friends online).
I have a partner, but am looking for a room on my own (partner may visit during the day on weekends with plenty of notice but is unlikely to stay over). I also have a cat but she will be going with my partner when we leave our current place.
I do not drive and therefore do not need a carspace - just close access to reliable public transport!
My move in date is somewhat flexible - I just need to give minimum two weeks notice at my current apartment, but have to be out by the end of January.
Important personal qualities
Considerate of others in the household, especially in regards to noise levels.
I enjoy keeping to myself at home - it's important for me to be able to switch off at the end of the day, but would also like to find someone I can share the occasional drink or meal with. You're likely to find me holed away in my room when I'm at home.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to organise my own food - I am likely to cook a couple of big batches of meals on the weekend to prep for the week ahead. I have no allergies or specific dietary requirements. However I am happy to contribute to communal basics such as butter, milk, spices, etc.
I do have a couch but may not bring it with me unless it's needed. I have a small dining table I can bring with me (but can also store if it's not needed). I have a desk, bed, and wardrobe plus a 2x4 Ikea shelf.
