Hey!
I'm Matt. From the UK on a 1-year WHV. I have had an online business (book publishing) for 5yrs+ so am self-funded, but may also get a part-time job in Sydney. Planning to stay here 6months + and would like a solid base rather than moving house all the time.
My budget is around A$600PW (A$2400PM). In process of setting up Aus banking but already have revolut.
Enjoys: Sunbathing, reading, writing, deep conversations, cooking from scratch, business, eating out, going to the beach, chess, board games.
Other notes:
- I'm not a party-type & don't drink alcohol
- Fine with M or F houses.
- Ideally 2+ housemates.
- Would likely work from home (my room) some days but also enjoy working from co-working spaces & cafes (or just going to the beach rather than working)
- Prefer en-suite but it's not a dealbreaker
- Prefer quiet leafy streets/suburbs & houses over towers/apartment blocks

Important personal qualities
To have similar interests, honesty, trustworthiness, & to live in a calm peaceful house. Ideally not with shift workers who are working odd-hours. I value a good sleep pretty highly.
Food sharing and furniture
I love cooking and happy to share it. I was vegan for 3 years but not anymore. I don't own any furniture.
