Hi there! My name is Lisa, I’m 24 years old, and I’m originally from Belgium.

I’m a native French speaker, but I’m also bilingual in Dutch. On top of that, my English is excellent, so communication won’t be an issue!

I grew up in the northern part of Belgium, near the coast, but for the past three years, I’ve been living in the capital, Brussels, with my boyfriend while pursuing my Bachelor’s in Tourism and Recreation Management. I’m currently in my final year and will be heading to Sydney for an internship from the beginning of March until the end of June.

To clarify, my boyfriend isn’t coming with me—I’m looking for housing just for myself. During my internship, I’ll be working with Ultimate Travel, mainly in the mornings from Monday to Friday. I’m also planning to find a part-time job while I’m there.

Before I started my studies in Tourism and Recreation Management, I gained some international experience by working abroad as an entertainer and tour operator guide. Living with people from diverse backgrounds has always been a positive experience for me. I’m an optimistic and easygoing person who loves SUNSETS, water sports, snowsports, inline skating, and spending time outdoors—especially near the beach or water.

I’m tidy, respectful, and know how to share a living space harmoniously. I’d also love to connect with my roommates, whether that’s enjoying a drink together, exploring the city, or just hanging out.

A good flatmate is someone who is considerate, respectful, and reliable. For me, it's important that they take responsibility for their own space as well as shared areas. Communication is key—I appreciate flatmates who are open and honest, especially when it comes to things like house rules or any concerns that might arise.

A sense of responsibility is also important, such as pitching in with chores and being mindful of noise levels, especially late at night. I value a positive and easygoing attitude—someone who is friendly.

Additionally, it's great if a flatmate is sociable and enjoys spending time together, whether it's sharing a meal, watching a movie, or even just having a casual chat over a drink.

Ultimately, it's about creating a harmonious living environment where everyone feels comfortable and respected.

I think it really depends on the person. Personally, I find it easier to do my own grocery shopping, but that doesn't mean we couldn't occasionally cook together or share a meal if we feel like it. I'm open to doing that from time to time!

As for my diet, I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan. I eat a variety of foods.

Regarding furniture, I don't have any living room furniture in Australia.
