Hey! I'm Issy, 32 years old from London.
I came to Sydney in October to train as a pilates instructor.
Having completed my course, I'm really excited to be staying in Australia to now work in a pilates studio here in Bondi.
I am typically in the studio for 4-5 hours daily, after which I crave being outside - swimming/walking/reading/napping in the sun. I love seeing my friends, and love (need!) wholesome nights in to recharge.
I get genuine pleasure in keeping 'Home' a clean and organised space - having a place you look forward to returning to is one of the best feelings any of us can have / and give to who we live with. Equally, that sense of home is down to more than cleanliness.
e.g. Back in London, I put a spare bedroom in my house on the UK version of flatmates. The housemate I 'chose' to move in is now an incredible friend, i.e. she spends Christmas with my family. She did sweet nothing r.e. domestic upkeep, but her qualities, and penchant for Diptyque candles, made it the best home.
I have a short-term rental on O'Brien St until 22 January, after which I can stay with friends around Bondi for a handful of days if move in/out dates don't precisely align.
