Hi I'm Alan,
I'm a 36-year-old utilities technician.
I currently live in a two bedroom flat in lane cove with a friend. The landlord is interested in selling the place and my housemate is looking to move with her partner.
My work hours are pretty standard, no unbearably early mornings, so I'm unlikely to disturb my new housemates.
For the last ten years I worked as a fitness trainer but I left the industry when covid hit. I'm still active with sports and gym, but I've returned to focus on studying psychology as a career with more longevity.
I've also discovered stand up comedy as a fun little social activity and I've been performing my corny jokes for audiences since February last year.
I don't drink too often now, mainly a couple of beers at the comedy rooms. I also really dig quiet time & friendly nights in, chilling, watching movies etc. Netflix is the best invention ever.
I'm pretty open, friendly and accommodating. I'm open to all belief systems and personal needs. I'll happily live with vegans, though I do consume animal products including meat, so they may not happily live with me. I love to cook and meal preparation is fairly standard. I am happy to share the shopping for shared meals and household sundries. I'd love to find a home not a house.

I want a house mate, emphasis on 'Mate'. I'd like to live with somebody I can hang out with now and then and even meet their friends and discover their interests. If we're going to live together it'd be great to get along.

Food sharing and furniture
Furniture wise, I have the usual amount of stuff one would keep in a bedroom. I've accumulated a couch and a dining table from living at my current place but it's stuff I can easily sell.
I don't have a huge amount of anything else; Mainly books, printer, home office stuff, I've collected an assortment of kitchen appliances and cookware (always comes in handy).
