Description of the home
Hello everyone!
I have a three-bedroom house with one spacious room available for rent. It'll just be the two of us as housemates for now.
The available room has a big window for lots of natural light, fits a queen or king bed, and includes a ceiling fan, medium-size wardrobe and its own bathroom. Room measurements: 3.06m x 3.66m.
The house itself is cozy, with a kitchen featuring a dishwasher, gas cooktop, and breakfast bar. There’s a comfortable open-plan living area with heating and cooling and a paved patio with pergola.
The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet (lots of trees), close to parks and Queen Street cafes. The house is very close to the CBD, just 9 minutes by train (3 stops), 25 minutes by bus, or a 15-minute drive. Coles and Drakes on Port Road are close for shopping.
The room is unfurnished, and I’m in the process of furnishing the rest of the house. However, if you have furniture, you are more than welcome to bring it in!
Rent is $287.50 per week which doesn’t include bills, these will be split 50/50 when due. I’m looking for someone after a longer-term rental (6-12 months).

- Travel
31 years old and originally from Colombia. I’ve been in Australia for almost 10 years and I work full-time in marketing in a government role.
I enjoy an active healthy lifestyle and usually out and about keeping busy but do enjoy a little gathering at home occasionally. I prefer a housemate I can socialise with not just live with.
I’ve just moved into this house and I’m not in a rush, but I’d be open to potentially adding a third flatmate if the right person comes along.
I enjoy cooking, running, going to the gym and beach, watching movies.
My partner Luke visits regularly. Likewise, if you have a partner, they are absolutely welcome to stay over whenever.
I’m a respectful and tidy person, and I would love to find someone that is non-smoker and respects the tranquillity of a peaceful, clean and tidy home.
If you’re looking for a quiet space to call home and think we’d be a good match, I’d love to hear from you. 😊
