Good Location - Just a 1.5km walk from Prince Charles Hospital. Only 5 minutes walk to shopping center, restaurants, bottle store, service station, gym, post office etc etc. Only 5 minutes walk to public buses to either the CBD, Chermside Westfield, or Aspley Hypermarket. The bus takes 25 minutes to King George Square (CBD), or 10 minutes to either of the larger Shopping centres. Multiple exercise parks and lovely wildlife reserves with walking trails are close by.

We share a large Elevated 50 year old Brick home. Fully furnished with 7 bedrooms (Dual living) known as the Castle. I am a 50% share owner and I live on the Ground floor with my teenage daughter 'Jolie' and a mate lives in the guest flat (Bedsit). We have 2 self contained 2 bedroom flats on the ground floor- different sizes. Your accommodation is upstairs in the main residence with neighbourhood views of the nearest Shopping centre and Bus stop. There is an internal staircase between both floors and an outside staircase. There is also a covered smoking area (Gazebo), a large uncovered drying line plus covered drying lines. The patio on your level has outdoor furniture and a bar table with 6 stools plus a small Gas BBQ. The patio is surrounded with HD blinds and ceiling fans with great lighting. Your living area is spacious with a 55 inch Smart TV on the wall with access thru a sliding door into an East facing sunroom used as a study room with desks and chairs or as an extra lounge area. The dining area has a large table and sits 8 people. There is a large hall cupboard for linen. Large galley kitchen with small electrical appliances, dishwasher, water filter tap, fridge freezer, electric ceramic stove top and range hood plus oven. The bedrooms, living area and sunroom windows, and entry door are all double glazed which helps alot with reducing temperature and reducing the main road traffic noise. Insect screens on all the windows. Plenty of Kitchen storage. Modern bathroom with bathtub and shower plus door lock and heat/ fan unit. The toilet is separated from the bathroom. There's a playground and trampoline in the backyard plus storage shed. Off street parking for 3 cars (Includes my car) and a turning bay. About occupants
Hi I'm Paul. I'm 50% share owner of The Castle. I'm a 61 year old single Dad to my 13 year old daughter 'Jolie'. She attends the local high-school and is an avid follower of Volleyball, online games and Social media. I also have 2 other dependant children that live with their Mum. They come to visit me once a fortnight. They are 5 and 6 years old. I was a late starter. I work part time as a Support worker in aged care. I have also just started Volunteering at Prince Charles hospital for several hours a week with the Common Good Program as a patient/families support liaison. I keep busy around my home doing DIY projects and helping neighbours and friends. I am super friendly, approachable and social and like to have a daily beer with my guest in the bedsit downstairs. His name is Mark & he works full time night shifts. I am overweight but try my best to get to the gym as often as I can. I'm in charge of the lawns and keeping the yards clean and tidy plus weekly rubbish bin duty. I like to keep a clean home and try to keep my noise to a minimum. I hope you will too. Hope you like kids?
Compatible people
I'm looking for responsible, respectful and organised flatmates. People that are friendly and approachable, thoughtful and caring to others and have a good sense of humour. I hope you are positive like me and keep your space and common areas clean and tidy. Your family and friends are welcome to visit and use the entertainment area on the deck or the back yard.
