ATTENTION :
We have a new person to rent this room until May 2025 at least , so the room is unavailable now .

We have a 3 bedroom house & we have a bedroom ( upstairs ) available to rent out now to a nice guy who is okay with the LGBQTI community and is okay sharing a house with 2 non binary people who live here . We have a big back yard which backs out onto a school , this is a high set house with 3 bedrooms & spare room downstairs .

We are about 5 minutes away from the seafront & only a few minutes from the main Deception Bay shopping centres, also we are about 15 minutes away from the Kippa-Ring / Redcliffe train station.

We live in rental property in Deception Bay , any person that wants to rent / share a house with us must have some references & will have to fill out a application form with the real estate agency we rent the property through to be approved .

Bills and expenses

bills are included in the rent , unless someone uses extra water or electricity to a high degree , we do get a person in to do the mowing when its in the wet season , that is a little bit extra but we can discuss that when it comes time to talk about everything

About occupants
We are a couple who live upstairs , I am Claire and i am a ( MTF ) transgender person , i have many interests but at the moment its health & fitness , walking a lot , movies , cooking , motor racing , fast cars / bikes , space , fashion , dancing , arts / ballet - music etc etc . My partner who lives with me up stairs follows motor racing , football & likes reading & classic cars , TV / movies etc . We have a another house mate who lives downstairs as well & she is also part of the LGBTQI family .

We are looking for a working guy ( preferable ) to join us in our home for 6 months or maybe more as we are renting a house through a local real estate agency now for another 6 months . We are looking for person who is working preferable , have good references as you will have to be putting in a application through the Real Estate agency as a preferred occupant we rent the house through , so you must have good references if you want to share a house with us . Please make sure you have good references as well as you will need them if you want to share with us , as you will be going through a real estate agency which need good references . Recent rental records will be a bonus as we will be wanting someone who is reliable and the real estate agency & owner will need proof of a good record .
We will not or neither will the real estate agency accept anyone with a past criminal record .

We are in no hurry & we will take our time to find the right guy who will live with us , any future housemate who will be living with us upstairs in the other bedroom , must be comfortable with someone like me , who is okay with me as a transgender person and my male partner who has some physical disabilities as well , we are retired aged pensioners & are here most of the time as is our housemate downstairs as she live here full time as well & is a pension as well . We are all over 50 years of age so we are not party raging people & like the quiet life mostly , if that suits please get back to us .

We are after a open minded guy who is friendly to the LGBTQI community , must be very open minded to non binary people that live in the household , friendly nature , & easy going , clean , non smoker or giving up smoking up soon or out door smoker , must have good references as a new housemate will have to apply through the real estate agency as well us , but we want rental references or proof of paying off a old house loan instead , we do not own this house & rent through a local real estate agency so we are looking for a person who is working preferable , can provide proof of being a good housemate & is a regular good payer of rent & bills , in other words someone who we can rely on & is honest & we can trust .
Sorry no pets or children . We like to live in a happy but not a noisy household , we are not into drugs , boozing or loud parties , so we prefer someone who is a quiet person & easy going and brings no hassles to our household .
