Description of the home

We have a fully equipped, clean and organised townhouse with a happy and active single parent family and our little cat. You should be comfortable with children and a reasonable level of noise at times like morning and evening. This room would not suit a shift worker who needs to sleep during the mornings/day or someone who works from home.

You will have a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, dining table and my favourite, a coffee machine! Kitchen is equipped with new European appliances, a pantry and a large fridge with plenty of freezer space.

Our townhouse has a bright and sunny yard with outdoor setting that is delightfully shaded in the afternoon, clotheslines, a large pool that is rarely used by other people and you will be next door to a large, shady park perfect for outdoor exercise.

Parking is usually available in the gated complex but cannot be guaranteed. There is plenty of on street parking in the area.

Conveniently located close to Sunnybank, 1km from Gateway and Pacific Highway, 8-minute walk to Eight Mile Plains busway, 5-minute walk to Logan road bus stops. 1km to Rochdale Village shops with Coles, pharmacy, gym, McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Guzman y Gomez etc.

2 weeks rent as bond required and rent is paid weekly or fortnightly in advance. Require 2 weeks notice when leaving.

About the occupants
We are looking for a neat and tidy female to occupy a room in a fully equipped, clean and organised townhouse with a happy and active single parent family and their little cat.

I am a primary teacher at a Brisbane school who enjoys trying to stay active, being outdoors, hiking and the beach. Children are a quiet academic focused 17-year-old and a friendly and well-behaved primary aged child. Younger child is in the home week on/week off and the teen live here most of the time with some weekends away.

You are mature, reliable, settled and enjoy a laugh and a peaceful happy home. You are comfortable and friendly around children. You enjoy an organised and tidy home and clean regularly . You are happy to contribute to some cleaning of the spaces you share (within reason of course!).
