About the occupants
Hi, I’m Matt. I'm a 33-year-old single gay guy who has recently moved back to Brisbane/Meanjin from Townsville/Gurambilbarra in North Queensland. Before that, I lived in Newtown, Sydney/Warrang. Working full-time in the creative industries, my job involves some travel and offers the flexibility of working from home or our office. I’m passionate about equity, inclusion, and LGBTQIA+ rights and am on a couple of advisory boards.

I’m interested in comedy, politics, theatre, film, art, music, the Matildas, attending gigs, adventuring in great outdoors, enjoying the odd drink while out and about, live music, crime dramas, French film, Australian stories, queer cinema, learning to DJ, and, of course, making lists.
Compatible people
I'm looking for a housemate who appreciates a respectful but chill social vibe. Clean and neat living is a must. I also value creating a space where we can unwind together over dinner, wine, or hosting friends if we are in the mood.

I don't have many rules for my house, but I do have one, and that is that we never, ever, use the big light.
