Gracewood House has been set up as a Christian Share House to provide a warm and comfortable living environment for people who want something that’s just that little bit nicer than the average share house.

Located in the heart of Springfield Lakes, it is within easy-walking distance of the Orion Shopping Centre, the University of Southern Queensland (Springfield Campus), the Springfield Central train station, schools (both public and private colleges), local buses and churches, the Orion free swimming pools and local cinema. There are parks and walking tracks that surround the myriad of lakes in the area, providing many outdoor living experiences and there is a public hospital under construction which will be within an easy walk of the house when complete.

The Single Bedroom currently has a comfy bed with a plush mattress. There is a bedside table, built-in wardrobe, desk and chair, ceiling fan and mirror. It is fully furnished with a lockable door, bed linen and towels. You will have your own air conditioner in the room from July which means you can select your own individual temperature over the hot summer months. The bedroom overlooks the front rose garden.

You also have your own refrigerator and dining table within a fully equipped spacious kitchen and large pantry where you have your own shelf. Your own air conditioning unit will be installed at the end of July. No need to sweat during the hot summer months.

There is a shared bathroom with full-length bath and separate shower and there is a separate toilet with an additional separate vanity cabinet and mirror. The laundry offers a front-loading washing machine and dryer.

Cleaning is shared amongst the house residents.

Outside is a large, covered verandah with lounge-style seating that faces out onto an open firepit/barbeque area that also has seating and there is an outdoor garden that has raised garden beds for those who would like to grow their own vegetables or would like to pick fresh herbs straight from the garden for cooking.

This Single Bedroom is available for $250 per week. The rent includes all bills such as electricity, water, gas stove and hot water, and high-speed internet which is available via ethernet cable or wi-fi. With nothing else to pay for other than your food and personal items, it is much more economical to live in than renting your own place. You also have the added benefit of the company of the other residents.

Rent is in advance with two weeks’ notice to leave.

Bills and expenses

Electricity, Gas, Water and Unlimited Internet are included along with cleaning products. Provide your own toilet paper and washing detergent only.
