We own a 4-bedroom home which we have spent the last 3 years slowly renovating. Our home is in Underwood (4119), only a quick drive to Springwood, Eight Mile Plains, and the new Rochedale bus stations, or Kuraby train station. We have local supermarkets and fresh produce markets within a 5 minute drive. The M1 and M3 highways are both a 5 minute drive away, and it generally take us 30 minutes to drive into the city for work each day. We also have a dog park in walking distance.
Our home is furnished, however we are flexible on this and can remove anything that is not needed. My brother occupies one end of the house which includes a Master Bedroom and a bathroom. You will have the other end of the home which includes 2 empty (or furnished) rooms. One of the rooms has a build in closet so makes a great bedroom, and the other could be used as a games room or a study. The bedrooms have been renovated 2 years ago so the paint and carpet are in great condition. You will also have a whole main bathroom to yourself which has been recently renovated. There is one kitchen, lounge room, laundry and toilet in the home, so this will be a shared space.
We have plenty of parking inside our property boundary all enclosed by a gate. We have a decent size backyard and 2 large sheds for storing any gear. We have hedges across the front of the house for privacy, and the house has an outdoor entertaining area with a TV.

About the occupants
The house is currently occupied by ourselves and my 24-year old brother, Kye. We are looking for a 12-month flatmate (or a couple) to share the house with Kye while we are away travelling.
He is a carpenter by trade and works long hours. He enjoys a good movie, gaming, camping, playing cards and spending time with his girlfriend who will occasionally stay over on the weekends.
While my fiancé and I will be on the road travelling, Kye will be maintaining the property (and collecting our mail for us!). He is a wonderful person, handy around the house and very much an introvert, so you can enjoy your personal time without someone invading your space, but you will also have good company if you want someone to hang out with.
