While we would enjoy the occasional house meal and are keen for a chat, we also both appreciate our space and at times will not be talkative at all, and will want some quiet and to be left alone, although we will never be rude or grumpy about this and communicate very clearly when this is the case. We are very respectful of other's preferences and boundaries.
We both smoke occasionally (not tobacco) which is important to know - obviously only outside, and you are free to do the same, provided you keep everything tidy.
We pay for cleaning fortnightly in general areas and keep shared spaces clean, and would ask that you do the same - particularly the kitchen, as we both are put off by unhygeinic kitchens. Just wipe the bench down when you are done, wash the dishes, and we will all be happy.
While only 19, we have both lived away from home for several years and are highly independent - you would not be joining two kids who are learning to sharehouse for the first time.
A couple other things about us - we are both neurodivergent, and we both have long term (2+ year) partners who are around a couple days a week. They are both very easy to get along with.
We have a young border collie, shown in the photos, and chickens. The dog is very timid at first but very sweet once you've met her a couple times, although she will freak out when you first enter the house, or when any of your friends do, for the first couple times. She is scared, not aggressive, and calms down after 15-30 seconds.
As you would learn, both of us grew up very quickly, and so generally get along well with anyone who is emotionally and interpersonally mature. We are less concerned with how old you are than if you act with respect, treat disagreements with calm and rationality, and always endeavour to be kind.
We both smoke occasionally (not tobacco) so you would also need to be comfortable with this - obviously only outside, and you are free to do the same, provided you keep everything tidy.

We are happy to have anyone - particularly welcoming couples due to the large room and own bathroom - although individuals are welcome too. We are happy to live with another boy provided you are not a toxic masculine 'bro' type, as we may not get along well if this is the case. We are also happy to live with a girl - we understand if it is a daunting space to move in to but we are sure that if you were to meet us both you would feel comfortable and safe in our presence.
