Within walking distance are some great cafes, a good pub, Woden Westfield, as well as a bunch of APS offices. I suspect a bunch more cafes and restaurants will open given a bunch of developments are approaching completion too. Also within walking distance is the Woden bus interchange for the public transport inclined. Otherwise, it is a 10 minute drive to Canberra centre, 14 mins to the airport, 6 mins to the hospital, and about 20 minutes bus ride to ANU.

About the occupants
I’m a young professional working in health. I’m fairly active, as I’m either out climbing or out and about with my dog, Frederick. I’m excited to make Canberra my home and will be keen to explore the city and surroundings. Keen to make the apartment friendly/social but also with an appreciation for alone/down time, cleanliness, and tidiness. During the week I tend to be pretty low key, but on the weekends I’m partial to exploring outside with Frederick (climbing, hiking), dancefloors, board game nights, and drinks.

My partner Sam (he/him) will likely visit 1 week a month and will be working from home. He’s likes to cook, enjoys wine, and is a massive history nerd. We generally like to cook and climb together during the week and like to explore on the weekend. I’ll be going up to Sydney once a month on weekends, so you would have the place to yourself.

Frederick is my 1 year old cavoodle (no shedding!), house trained and all. He’s an adorably cuddly boy and generally not too mischievous. He loves going for big walks, meeting other pups, and demanding attention with his dashing good looks (pictured).
