This is a complete package - your weekly rent is for a fully furnished room (furniture to be bought and installed) and includes your own bathroom! The photos do not do it justice as I purchased furniture not realising I was going over-sized (Queen bed frame and a very large desk cramp the space a bit.) The double bed frame and desk will be purchased specifically to fit the space, and the right candidate could have some input to design options for the furniture.

This spacious split-level townhouse is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with a 24hr petrol station and the local grocer right at the end of the street! The bus is even closer, with services heading to Belconnen and Canberra Airport right nearby.
The house is right at the front of a private complex, which has gardeners and body corporate looking after the communal areas.

I have been sharing this place with the owner for the last two years and now a change of circumstances has resulted in him offering me a full lease on the house as he moves into a new property on the south side of town. The rent is generous enough that I can seriously rent just one of these rooms out, and I have decided to make either one a fully furnished option.

There are plans for adding features to the household - I want to make the back deck an all-seasons outdoor entertainment space with heating, seating, and improved lighting available. There is a charcoal barbecue for free use and an outdoor dining setting currently available. Considering my pending lifestyle changes, the garage will include a home gym and hanging racks for bicycles. I will update this ad as I complete these modifications if I have not yet found a housemate.

Electricity, internet, and water included in weekly rent. The house is all-electric, so no gas bills, and a cleaner will look after the communal areas.

Hey, I'm Ged. I live and breathe fitness, being at the top of the "hobby athlete" in weightlifting, running a weightlifting club and a personal training business. Due to having such a customer-centric career, I prefer quieter activities in my personal life - having a couple of friends over to watch the footy, have a D&D night, or going out to see a movie. Occasionally I like to go out for social events like catching a Raiders home game, host an occasional inter-club weightlifting session, or something alongside other staff from Club Lime.
Compatible people
Keeps things tidy: They don’t need to be perfect, but they should help with rubbish, keeping the counters tidy, and loading/unloading the dishwasher so the cleaner can do a big clean once a month.

Likes to talk: They should be friendly but also respect personal space.

Doesn’t use drugs: I’m involved in tested sports and prefer to stay away from drug use.

This is currently a placeholder. My housemate does not like cats, but is happy for me to get one once he moves out. I will be looking at the RSPCA and shelters for a sociable one or a kitten I can socialise myself.
