Our available bedroom is quite large and would easily fit a queen bed, desk and any other typical bedroom furnishings. It has a lot of storage for clothes and other belongings. It is located next to the bathroom and has plenty of space away from the living room, kitchen and other bedrooms which provides decent privacy.

Description of the home

Our 4 bedroom house is located in central Launceston and features big bedrooms, a large kitchen with gas top burners and dishwasher, a large bathroom and plenty of space inside and out. The shared study is set-up with a large desk and chair, and the kitchen, living room, dining area and laundry are all fully furnished and ready to go. There is only one off street park which we share but we currently have 4 cars between us and typically always have plenty of on-street parking close to the front door.

Bills and expenses

The $150/ week rent includes NBN internet. Other bills are water, electricity and gas which we split equally 4 ways when we receive them (you would only pay your share and not anything that was consumed before moving in). We typically buy our own food and use splitwise for other shared expenses that pop up such as shared bathroom consumables.

About occupants
There are currently four 23 year old friends living in the house with one moving away overseas so we are looking to replace him. The three of us remaining are:
Angus, 23yo, Final year medical student, enjoys fitness, sport, cooking and travel.
Ben, 23yo Final year medical student, super chill and friendly guy, enjoys sport, food and video games.
Pat, 23yo PE teacher/ Hawthorn Hawks staff member. Relaxed guy who works 4 days/ week and plays football on weekends.
We spend most of our days at work/ placement for uni and often travel to Devonport, Burnie or Hobart to visit partners and family on weekends.
Compatible people
We are looking for someone laid back and friendly who will be reliable with rent and bills. We like to keep the common living areas in the house as tidy as we can and clean up after ourselves. The house is typically quiet most of the time, especially during week days but we will occasionally have some friends over for some drinks or food on a weekend which you are always welcome to join. We would prefer someone younger and working or at uni but happy to get expressions of interest from most people. The preference would be that you complete the lease with us until Jan 16 2023
