Home Description

Description of the home

My home is a lovely old wooden house so well nestled into the foliage of the hillside you can barely tell you are 15 minutes walk from the shops. The house has solar hot water, solar panels, water tanks, and one of the two toilets is composting. It is also well insulated, mosquito screened, and air conditioned. The house includes an open plan kitchen/ dining room/ living area, a second living room, a large veranda, a small craft studio, and a patio. The large grounds include gardens, fruit trees, and a (currently empty) chicken run. The home is already furnished and decorated, but I highly encourage you to bring furniture or decorations of your own if it would make you feel more at home, and room will be made if necessary.

About occupants
Hi! I'm Nebs.

I'm a part time costume design student in my late 20s. I enjoy board games, rainforest walks, reading, swimming, baking and crafts. I'm always floating between several different creative projects. I like to maintain a relaxed, welcoming home environment, and enjoy having a few friends around for a board game night or a crafternoon. I'm very queer, a smidge neurospicy, and I have chronic fatigue. I don't smoke, but I have a glass or two occasionally.

Our other housemate will be Madi, a queer, First Nations women in her early 20’s who is currently studying art and design at SCU. Madi is a quiet and creative individual who values alone time but loves the occasional chat. When she's not making art, she's listening to music or playing soccer!!
Compatible people
It's important to me that all housemates are dedicated to making the space feel like a safe and comfortable home for us all.
Description of pets
I have a lovely friendly 6 y/o border collie named Momo.
