Other information
***Pics are the original from the ad, not my furniture (except bedroom pic). I've been living here for well over a year but am using the old pics as my camera is awful. The place looks completely different now.

The room on offer can come partially furnished (queen bed, bedside draws, as shown in pic) if needed. I should also mention, the room doesn't have any built ins but there's a smaller 3rd room/study that is 90% cupboard and pretty much all yours (I'm storing a few things but can move them around).

Home Description

Description of the home

Looking for a roomie!
Ideally for a 30+ yr old single, fully employed male. I'd like to live with some one I can be mates with, drink beers with etc and thinks of our place as a home.

The location is fantastic and the house is very charming, it has it's quirks but if you've ever lived in one of these old Melbourne digs, you'll know what a pleasure they can be.

The house boasts 12ft ceilings in bedrooms, hallway and lounge, carpet in bedrooms and floorboards/tiles throughout. Beautiful stained glass everywhere annnnnddd 2 WORKING FIREPLACES! Yep! I have a full house of furniture, with all the trimmings, but am happy to move things around or upgrade if your stuff is nicer!

I have found some appropriate window dressings for that amazing but very open bathroom window btw.

Both front and back yard are relatively large and the back yard is essentially a blank canvas, with a lot of space and a little shed. I'm keen to put a tonne of work into it but it is a big project, so if you’re into that, great!

We will share all the bills, of which I'm not sure of estimates just yet. Parking is apparently on street.

Trams 6 and 1 are a 2 min walk, Sydney Rd is about 8-10mins. Lygon is also about 5 mins and Dan’s, Macca’s and late night Kebabs are uncomfortably close.

About the occupants
I’m 36 and I work at Melbourne University, both in the office and from home.

I’m not very good at the talk myself up part but I think most people find me quite agreeable and fun. I love love love music and have it on a lot of the time. I’m not fussy though and am constantly looking for new tunes.

Very partial to drink/chat/games and a total sucker for a binge session, on high rotation usually - Seinfeld, Simpsons, Parks & Rec etc.

I have lived in Melbourne for around 17 years now and really love my city.
Basically, I'm looking for a fun loving legend who will love my house and my neighbourhood as much as I do.
