Home Description

Description of the home

20 meters from Anstey station. Super convenient PT.
Close to syd Rd/Edinburgh Castle, Brunswick IGA (hanging for its retun after the fire 🔥)

The place is an old workers cottage, so its smallish but it also feels spacious because of the backyard area. It's a great small two bedder, it just doesn't have heaps of storage space so you'd need to provide your own robes in the room.
House is cosy with heaps of indoor plants. It is fully furnished and can also be cleared out completely...

About occupants
Hi there, Cameron here.
Im a Social Worker/psychotherapist.
My good old mate is moving out april May and im looking for someone to move in and create a home vibe together. Ive been living in Melbourne for 14 years and really love all that melbourne has to offer: live music, endless good food, bars, access to nature day trips and all the various vibes that the inner north has to offer.
I like to balance my own solitude with bits of social. I need both to recharge, depending on my mood.
Housewise, I like to do my own thing and also share the vibe. Ive probably done my 'big house share years' and am looking for my own space or to share with another person who has similar values around humanity, compassion, curiosity , kindess, humour and playfulness. My ideal housemate would have their own world they are connected to with an openness to connect when the time aligns and its mutually fluid.
I dont have a preference of gender or sexuality. I am a bleeding heart leftie and hoping you are too. I love gardening, pottering, cooking a slow cooked meal on a sunday and a bike ride. I like music on in the background and learning and discovering new sounds.
Oh I don't have any dietary specifications and don't mind if you do. You do you.
If i sound like someone who vibe with please let me know :-)
Compatible people
Someone who is considered, a good enough communicator and checks in if there is any room for miscommunication, is interested in a home vibe.

Im looking for someone who has their own life and is open to hanging if it suits both schedules.

After living both on my own and in shared environments, my ideal would be a blend of both environments.

Because it's a relatively small place it would need to be the right vibe with a comfortable sense of fallibility and curiosity .
I.e. something along the lines of Ted Lasso..
Description of pets
My Cat Obie is a grey Burmese rescue. He's about 6 years old and a narcissist like all cats. He does his own thing and is also a cute lap cat when he's being cute.
