Description of the home

The house is in Brunswick, a 10min walk to Sydney road and a 2 min walk to the 1/6 trams on Lygon st. You'll need to be added to the lease which ends on the 26th of August 2025. The room is available from the 26th of this month!
The room is a large 3.5 x 3.5m, unfurnished but with a large built in (mostly hanging space) and a big front facing window that lets in lots of afternoon sun 🌞
The house itself has very cute courtyard, a big space where we have previously had a flourishing veggie garden (that I'd be keen to start up again with the nice weather).
Big European laundry equipped with my washer/dryer and some storage space
Shared bathroom with a decent sized shower/bath.
Two living spaces, the back sunroom and the main living/kitchen. (My housemate is taking the fridge so it you don't have one then we will have to buy one)
About your potential housemates 🏡
Ebony, Freelance graphic designer and artist but I also manage an extremely popular restaurant in the CBD 5 nights a week. I'm easy going and love to spend afternoons in the backyard soaking up the sun and listening to the neighbours play guitar (they are surprisingly good).
Vincent (My son and a very good boy) 8 year old cockatiel who loves to sing the Adams family off key and stare angrily at the microwave.
About you (hopefully)
Don't mind a house hang or friends being over on occasion.
Bird friendly, Vincent is out of his cage a good chunk of the time.
Noise doesn't bother me at all (play your music queen, love a kitchen boogie) but I'm a very tidy person so a clean house is important to me.
