Hello!

I am currently looking to rent out the available room to students/young professionals. Everyone in the house is in their 20's. No couples and no pets sorry as I have a 6 month old indoor only kitten.

About the room:
The available room is very spacious (see photos), measuring 3.3m X 3.8m and comfortably fits the queen bed with a new luxurious snooze mattress, bedside tables, study desk with ergonomic chair, tallboy and a built-in wardrobe with drawers. The room has a view of the Plenty Gorge surroundings and you have a cute view of Kangaroos grazing across most evenings.

About the house:
Fully furnished with appliances (fridge, living room TV with Netflix, washing machine, dryer and kitchen appliances like dishwashers etc). There is a cute backyard with a mandarin tree which I maintain with an outdoor alfresco area perfect for lazy afternoons in the sun. I occupy the master bedroom which has an en-suite. You will be sharing the bathroom and two toilets with two other housemates.

Location:
The house is 5 minutes walk from Unihill DFO, RMIT in Bundoora, Coles and a few other shops. It's a very peaceful area with a lake 1 minute walk away and the Plenty Gorge also a 1 minute walk away which is lovely for sunset strolls and jogs. It's a 10 minute walk to the 86 tram, 5 minutes walk from the bus stop and 10 minutes drive to Latrobe University Bundoora Campus. There is off-street parking available.

About the rent:
The rent is $300/week which includes lawn maintenance, the occasional cleaning lady and pest control. The utility bills (internet, water, electricity and gas) is evenly split between four people occupying the house.

About you:
Looking for someone who is easy-going, respectful, easy to deal with and who is clean & tidy and pays bills on time. Preferably someone who has had previous share-house experience. Non-smokers only. Ideally looking for long-term housemates ~ 12 months stay.

About the housemates:
Kelvin - 25 year old recent graduate of aviation management and part-time student. He loves a good chat and is very approachable.

Daniel - 21 year old second year data science university student who's very friendly and mostly keeps to himself.

Finley (my pet): 6 month old DMH rescue kitten who's very affectionate and cuddly.

Bills and expenses

Water, internet, electricity and gas bills are excluded from the weekly rent and is split equally amongst 4 people roughly totalling $25 per week per person.
