Looking for a kind, clean and queer friendly housemate for a room in our plant-filled two-bedroom Carlton North unit. $200 per week / roughly $800 per week + bond.
Move in date by mid-May preferred.

🗺️The location: located near the intersection of Brunswick Rd and Lygon St, the number 1 and 6 trams are on our doorstep, with a 15min walk to the number 19 tram and upfield train line in one direction and 96 tram on Nicholson st in the other. Close to the Park St bike path with many nice cafes, restaurants and other amenities walking distance.

🏠The house: second story brick unit (please note the unit is accessed via a rear flight of stairs and there is no lift) in a quiet unit block with lovely and cooperative neighbours. There is a small patio that can fit two people comfortably. We are already set up with a washing machine (no dryer), fridge, microwave , dishwasher and most household essentials. The house is carpeted throughout with tiles in the kitchen and a shared bathroom with shower and bath (separate toilet). We have one undercover parking space that is currently occupied but parking permits are available through the council for on-street parking.

🛏️ The room: spacious room with built in robe, and double glazed windows with blinds. Could comfortable fit a queen size bed + other furniture with room to move. Dimensions: approx 3m x 3.5m.

🐱The housemates: you will be living with Mel (28) a youth worker, gamer and plant enthusiast as well as two house cats Ollie and Addie, and occasionally Mel’s partner who visits on weekends from interstate. We are seeking a housemate who loves cats and would be happy to occasionally feed them during weekends away.

The vibes: a generally quiet and clean household with a 9-5 schedule, not big partiers but enjoy meals and movie nights with friends. Queer friendly household, probably no room for anymore pets as the two cats are quite a handful on their own 😭

Bills are split evenly.
