Home Description

Description of the home

Hi all, we have a medium-large unfurnished room with BIR available at our house in Coburg.

The house is an old-school north-side weatherboard, good sized backyard with lemon tree and vegie patch. 2 minutes walk from Sydney Rd, 5 min from trams, 10 min from the Upfield line. Great location.

The backyard has lounge chairs which are great to soak up the sun in all seasons, and the outdoor areas and garden make the property feel homely. Central heating makes things comfy in winter, though we try not to use it too often. ;)

About the occupants
The housemates: Gawain is a busy music teacher/musician in his late 30s. Jacob is a CRT (casual relief teacher) in his early 30s, who also works in hospo occasionally and plays trombone in a jazz band. We enjoy sharing food and hanging out sometimes, but are respectful of space and personal time.
Compatible people
Looking for mature and friendly people, late 20s to mid 30s, who know share house etiquette. We are keen for a housemate who respects a balance of privacy and socialising. We aren't party animals but enjoy an occasional festive gathering. We sometimes play and sing music from time to time at reasonable hours, which are negotiable. Pets not preferred but open to discussion. Environmentally friendly, clean, relaxed people highly regarded. Non-smoking preferred. Bonus if you are 'a creative type' 😁
The house isn't large so we would prefer no couples, but open to the idea.

You'd be going on the monthly lease, subject to the landlord's approval.
Please PM for any further details, or to organise an interview and check out the space.
Cheers 🏠🏡🏠🏡 🎵 🎶
