Home Description

Description of the home

The first thing that you'll notice is how amazing this location is.
Broadway is a quiet, beautiful tree lined street tucked away, with a 5 min walk to Acland street, Ormond Rd shops and Elwood/St Kilda beach.

Elwood is a very relaxed suburb with diverse and accessible shops, and a beautiful canal (around the corner from the apartment building).
If you like walking or running it's a scenic and relaxing spot. There are bus stops at your door step, and both Ripponlea train station, and tram lines on Brighton road are approx 10 mins away by walk.

The apartment building is modern and clean. We are on the 1 st floor, easy to get to with both stairs and a lift.

Your room comes with your own private bathroom and WIFI is included in the rent along with all other bills reflecting the total price.

Currently, it's fully furnished aside from your bedroom, and this incudes a new washing machine, new vaccum cleaner, TV, kitchen area, lounge area and we have a private balcony too. Your own bedroom furniture is all you'll need, however if needed, we can arrange furnishing this for you.

Home features

  • Air-conditioning

Bills and expenses

Rent, electricity, water usage, and hot water usage are the only bills we pay at this unit, and on average, the bills are low, so they’re included in the final weekly price. Excluding rent, you could expect approx $150 per month in total for all bills other then rent (approx $37.5 a week).

I am also completely open and flexible to negotiate a system that works for you and makes you feel secure, as we can both share having the bills sent to us as account holders.

About the occupants
Hello everyone!

My name is Joshua and I've been a tenant here for two years now.

I am 24, working 4 days a week in Mental Health and AOD as a peer support worker. I’m organised, clean, and value my health both mentally and physically. By nature I am relaxed, easy going, considerate and kind. I’m a sociable person but I do tend to be on the introverted side and need my alone time (I’m not a party goer either). So, I may not be inclined to talk your ear off everyday, however, I am an open communicator despite, and I do enjoy engaging in deeper conversation when we both have the energy. I value close relationships, and if desired, I would be open to spending time together or doing activities in the future once we get to know each other.

The ideal roomie would be someone to read this and say, "yup that's sounds ideal for me, I'm similar/the same". I’m absolutely open to all ages and orientations, but in an ideal world, someone in their twenties would be great. I encourage boundaries, respect privacy, and I’m very flexible and open to creating a system that works for the both of us, wholesome vibes is the goal! This isnt a party house.

I'm hoping to share my awesome unit with someone who is compatible with my nature and lifestyle. So if you are seeking a unit with your own bedroom, built in study desk, private bathroom, balcony, outside car spot, and a walk away from the beach or elwood/st kilda shops, come and have a look and we can discuss further :')
