Description of the home

Large, north facing room available in a charming, comfortable 3BR house in Footscray, close to the park, Barkly street and an easy 10 min stroll from the train station (30 minutes max to the city including the walk). The room itself gets a nice amount of morning sun. We currently have a random bunch of exercise gear in there, the photo does not do it justice.

There are two bathrooms - the one pictured you'd have to yourself, we'd only need access to the laundry. It has a tub with jets if you like a soak! There's also ducted heating, air con, 3D projector in the lounge (great for movie nights), all whitegoods (fridge, washer, dryer, dishwasher) - you'd essentially just need to furnish your room, however we're open to other items of furniture you'd like to bring. There's a sizeable yard with existing herb/veg patch, and there's a garden shed if you're a tinkerer/DIY person.

The landlord is a builder, and gets onto maintenance pretty quickly. We're looking for someone to join the lease with us.

You'd be living with two others (couple, late 20s/early 30s). Post COVID, we're both still primarily working from home so try to keep things fairly chill on weekdays. We're a mostly veg household and have a great dining room for the odd house meal.

Bills and expenses

Bills are power, gas, water, internet, split evenly between the three of us. We also split consumables like Who Gives A Crap and kitchen bits.
