Description of the home
Calling all fur baby lovers for a unique win-win opportunity! Macleod location. Approx $95 (see below) to $260 per week (including bills)
Room in bright, cosy and leafy renovated 1950s home in peaceful Macleod sharing with one other (me – she/her) and my sweet cavoodle. 5-10 minutes walking distance to shops, train station (Hurstbridge line) and Rosanna parklands. 2 minute walk to bus direct to Latrobe Uni Bundoora. Also close to Heidelberg (Austin Hospital, Melbourne Polytechnic Heidelberg Campus), RMIT Bundoora, and a short drive to Preston, Ivanhoe, Fairfield, Thornbury, Eltham, Watsonia
House is fully furnished in mid-century modern vibe (including the available room), has aircon and central heating throughout, dishwasher, outdoor oasis with vegie patch. Room is has built in robes (including built in shelving) and can also easily fit a desk.
About you: Ideally looking for a female who is keen for a clean, calm and peaceful home vibe works/studies/chills at home 2-3 days a week and a few hrs on the weekend who would enjoy hanging out with a super sweet and well behaved 5 year old Cavoodle who has struggled being home alone since the COVID lockdowns. Pet sitting would be compensated for by significantly reduced board/rent (to be negotiated for the right person) and loads of canine love.
About me: I (she/her) work full time in mental health/social services 2-3 days in the office and the other days at home. I enjoy yoga, Netflix and wine nights, nature walks, markets, weekends away, and brunch/dinner with friends in my spare time. LGBTIQ+ friendly house. Sorry no more pets.
