Private bedroom
- Own bathroom
- Built-in wardrobe
If you dont want/need the bedframe i can get rid of it.
There's also currently two fans in there that you're welcome to have to combat the morning summer sun.
Home Description
Description of the home
10-15 min walk from Mentone Station + shops. Right above a great cafe ;)
There is a somewhat small kitchen and dishwasher, with fridge and freezer built into the cupboard.
I don't have a washing machine and just use the coin laundry across the road.
The internet in this building is very good.
This apartment is east facing so it gets quite warm in the mornings during summer.
Next to a highway so you can hear traffic outside but it's not too bad.
The bedrooms share a wall so it is audible if someone speaks in the other bedroom. You can't tell what is being said, but I felt it was worth mentioning.
Apologies but the apartment is probably not big enough for most pets.
Home features
- Air-conditioning
- Broadband Internet
- Dishwasher
- Balcony, patio or deck
- Electronic security
- Elevator / Lift
Bills and expenses
Roughly about $150 per month.
Previously I've just split bills 50/50 with the other tenants so I'd prefer to just do the same but happy to discuss.
Electricity + gas + water has worked out to be about $100 per person per month, perhaps a bit less.
Internet I'd be willing to pay a higher share on since I'd use it more, so $50 there (while I pay $100)
There is a designated parking space and that's free.
Occupants Description
- Cooking and food
- Creative interests
- Video games
I'm a quiet person but easy going and generally keep to myself on the computer, doing art/gaming/photography or whatever else.
I enjoy cooking and have been on a baking binge lately.
I'm at home most of the time but go out for certain events or to do photography.
Previously I've always lived with friends (both male and female) so living with a stranger will be a new experience.
Happy to share basic food stuff and you will of course have access to any baked goods I make.
I'm in the midst of getting rid of stuff out of the living room so you have more of your own space.
If you're working from home as well then the apartment is probably pretty small for that, but I'm happy to hash out an schedule which works for both of us.
I'd like someone who's on the same wavelength as I am, though I'm fine with someone who's more outgoing.. but not looking to have parties in a small apartment. In general just someone who can be open, respectful and understanding about any specific needs or issues that arise.
Communication is key.
