Description of the home
I have a room in Westgarth/Northcote avail for lease sign on. There are two rooms in the home, I am currently in the smaller room which is less rent. But I am willing to switch rooms if someone would prefer the slightly cheaper rent.
Rent prices are:
big room - $1484/per calendar month
small room - $1299/ per calendar month which works out to be $299 a week.
Bond is a months rent (can confirm). Both rooms are really nice, big room gets heaps of natural light, small room has heaps of wardobe space! ✨
You’d be living with me and my kitty. The house has a lot of space and is fully furnished except for your bedroom (obvs), big lounge room, office/music room, off-street parking, backyard with undercover area (needs some more plants out there though…), the house has a lot of cute and quirky furnishings too, like the frosted glass doors with the deer, and a bidet!
I work in Comms at a university, mix of WFH and in the office - big pop culture nerd, love talking films, politics, art, drag, have got a little vinyl collection that’s just a touch ~gay~ Ideal roomie would be late 20s to early 40s, tidy, happy to share cleaning & keep the garden in order, and sharing the occasional meal/drink of choice together.
I’m queer so being queer-affirming is a must, as is being 420-friendly.
I’m in a much smaller room of the house, which is slightly less rent. If the vibe was right though and someone was more interested in the room I am in I’d be happy to swap - pretty flexible for the right fit!

I know this is cliche, but i very much like a balance of a few shared meals, beers/wines, AND respecting space.
I'm more into having the home as a haven, but also want you to feel like you can have people and friends around.
You gotta be ok with living with a functional pot-smoker, too.
Willingness to help out to keep the garden tidy a plus!
