Other information
Pictures of room are old, doggo no longer included. Your room will be 4.1x3m (large!) with a long build in wardrobe running along the entire 4.1m wall. Your room is unfurnished, unstyled, open to interpretation! Make it your own, make it you. All the bills are split between the 6 of us so it is almost TOO affordable.

GENERAL HOUSE RULES:
- if your mess in the kitchen gets in the way of other people making food that makes people very sad :(
- Smokers welcome in the back, just be very mindful with your butts and look after mother earth.
- party and get together friendly if planned in advance, roughly 3 or 4 days for groups bigger than 5 but no stress if its less than that, seriously we have an amazing space lets make use of it.
- Noise sensitive after 10pm on week nights. Just to be mindful of early wakers
- Pets can be discussed
- Welfare welcome but proof that rent and bills can be regularly met must be provided.

Home Description

Description of the home

Hello potential housemate! Here at Bingley ave we're a bit of a mixed bag. Your room will be situated upstairs to the right with no adjacent bedrooms beside or underneath you! So its a little less sound sensitive :) you will be sharing the bathroom upstairs with a couple and our resident uni student April. We do have evaporative cooling but it isn't too great so those summer days you better be packing a fan! Winter nights are damn cold and the ducted heating isn't too hot flash either so invest in a small heater, layer up or find a willing cuddle buddy :) We have NBN but it can get touchy, most of the time its fine though. We have a garage which is communal storage as well.

COMMUNAL SPACES:
Its really spacious with a HUGE backyard, a shed with a workshop bench which isn't being used at the moment. Potential for an amazing veggie garden (if you're willing to put in the work). A forgotten cubby house that would be fun to do something with (open to ideas). 2 BBQ's which are working but haven't been getting much love.

The kitchen is also a big plus with a large communal fridge. We have 2 fridges but you'll be sharing the one in the garage with Jess and Alessandro! We have so many cooking appliances, pots and pans, baking tins and trays. If you like cooking we have a huge set of tools up for offer and all we ask is you take care of them and put them back clean as soon as you can! Because it's such a big communal space we try our best to keep it clean so whoever wants to create can! It's also our main place of bumping into each other and everyone is friendly when we meet in the kitchen. Great for big cook ups and to accommodate guests as you please (just let us know in advance in case people have to get up early for work).

There is the front study room which is just an open space. with a few bean bags and a dining table it's a simple space to chill out, additions to this space are welcome. Upstairs is the communal living room which hosts a TV and a few couches. HDMI imports for the tv give you a chance to plug in your laptop and chillax with a movie.

About occupants
Lovely house mates all in our 20's:

Alex (in charge of writing this) - male, lives downstairs, parkour and tricking teacher, psychosomatic therapist. I'm home most of the week and cook pretty often. Always open for a chat about anything from science to philosophy, spirituality and personal development, fitness and acrobatics. I'm an avid hobbyist and you'll find me either in the kitchen or the backyard during daytime hours either meditating, playing with flow props or my uke, or cooking. Typical festival going vegan hippy, who also loves martial arts and acrobatics.

Zac- male, lives downstairs, working from home. Open to big talks and group activities. Always friendly and loves a good chat, is a gamer, whiskey drinker, cooks occasionally at home. You'll bump into him lots in the kitchen between 9-12pm.

Alessandro - male, lives upstairs with Jess as the couple, working day shift hours and studies. Friendly and usually with Jess, moved here from Italy to be with her. Talkative and conversational though keeps to his room mostly unless cooking or in the living room with Jess.

Jess- female, lives upstairs with Alessandro, full time manager at sunglass hut. Usually at work until 6 then back home to relax, watch some netflix, make cute dinners with Alessandro. Talkative and casual, not shy for a chat.

April- female, lives upstairs, full time uni student at monash and works part-time on campus. Circus, juggling, board games, usually a packed week. Very friendly and pretty awesome when you get to know her.
Compatible people
Making sure communal spaces are clean enough to enable creative minds to make their delicious cuisines, chill and relax without stepping on tripping hazards. Respectful of everyone's sleeping schedules (but we're pretty flexible and relaxed about it). Feel free to offer food that you've accidentally made too much of. Social and friendly when bumping into other house mates. Fun to hang out with but also okay with personal space. Be happy to be a part of a home and not just a house :)
