Preston

Hi there! I’m Luke and I’m a 36 year old small business owner. I work a lot, probably too much to be honest! I enjoy cooking though I rarely do it at home. I’m a bit of a nerd at heart. Interests include making stuff, 3D printing, music, movies, sciencey youtube channels and anything with a creative spirit really.
Also living here is Jordan (36M), who has been a very close mate since we were kids. Jordan is into a reeeaaally wide range of music types, old school anime, gaming and movies. He’s very easy going and is great to sit down and chat with, especially anything related to the interests above or science, human nature, psychology, meditation and plenty more.
On the way out is Adriana (37F), who was teaching at Deakin Uni. But has now been offered a job in Darwin, so we'll be very sad to see her go!
Ideally we’re seeking a like-minded individual to join us Preston. We’d really love to live with someone who values cleanliness, mutual respect and all round good vibes!
We have a professional cleaner every second Wednesday (but still keep the place tidy in between), have great neighbours, are a 2 minute walk away from the tram and a 10 minute walk from Woolies (and Preston Market).
Being a bit older, we’re past our party prime. So the household isn’t much of a spot for shindigs. We do enjoy a beverage on the weekend, but being so close to High St we’re much more inclined to meet friends out than entertain at the house. We try to keep the house pretty quiet after 11pm on school nights, so it would be great to have someone on who is keeping similar 9 to 5 type hours.
Up for grabs is the downstairs bedroom, which has a powder room next to it. Shared bathroom for the shower upstairs. Also welcome to use the garage gym. There’s wifi, a huge shared kitchen, living room area and courtyard. Parking on the street too.

A great housemate is someone who is friendly, tidy and generally respectful towards others. We're hoping to live with someone who works full time but we're open to living with an older student.

We're both very animal friendly. Although Jordan must stay away from cats at all costs lest his sinuses explode. I occasionally dogsit a whippet but it's only a few times per year.
