Home Description

Description of the home

Established share house, sharing with 1 awesome female (39), and one adorable b&w 5yo kitty.

**The smallest bedroom is already empty and ready to be rented.

**The main bedroom will be free next month (March 15th).

Closest train station is Regent, in between Reservoir and Preston stations.
Approx 7-10min walk to Regent station. Also close by is the Gilbert Rd tram, Preston Market, Coles, Woolworths and RMIT Preston.

There is a bus stop right out the front of our house. That'll take you up to the Reservoir shops, and also down to Preston Markets.

We have a large lawn and (neglected) veggie garden. There is a medium shed out the very back. Plenty of storage space in the garage (it doesn't fit a car lol).

House has fridge, washing machine, large backyard, and internet. And gas cooktop! Not cruddy off-brand induction! Also an off street parking spot, we call it "the driveway"! :)

One potential spare room/studio at the back half of the house. Come check of the space if you need a home office. We can all work out a price together for the studio/gaming/office? Or we'll make it communal and call it a day :)

Applicants must be cat friendly and 420 comfortable, as I have a legal script bitches!! (Don't stress, no smoking in the house. I finally gave up tobacco! Also, ewww to inside smokers lol)

Outdoor, undercover smoking area out zee back. For guests or your own shenanigans.

Hills Hoist clothesline.

+TAPO home security cameras.

Please note:.99.99% probability of the house being torn down, sometime after this year, sigh, end of an era.

The landlords intends to build townhouses on the land - but he also said that last December.. I jest, they are actually really easy to get along with and has been open with the building plans and permits etc. Ideally he'd like to keep the house occupied until all the red tape is sorted. This suits me juuust fine! We'll never have rent THIS cheap again!

Darn economy!! *Shakes fist at inflation*

Bills and expenses

Elec, gas, water, internet - All split equally :)

And if no one can be bothered doing the lawns, we can get a gardener 😁 Ooh, FANCY! I LOVE gardening, when my back will allow, but I'm not the best at garden maintenance. Ooh! Look over there! Something shiney!

About occupants
39 year old female, Australian, half Thai, half British. Was living in Thailand before Covid. Made it back on the second last seat, on the last available plane. Utter chaos.

Professional photographer (lockdowns made that impossible, all good) and currently studying to work in the mental health services. Fully vaccinated.
Compatible people
Looking for considerate and conscientious housemates. An animal person is a bonus. Being willing to do their share of housework, that's basic sharehouse 101.

Looking for someone chilled, laid back, no bullshit, happy to have a chat/deep convos with. For goodness sake, there's a pandemic, we all miss social interaction right? But! Also equally comfortable if we go and just hang out in our rooms. Usually to just read in bed or play with the kitten. Doesn't mean we're ignoring you, new housemate!

Ok, clearly that description was from a WHILE ago!
But it still stands, I guess! :)

I'm a very non-judgemental person and the rent is low enough, that someone could afford it on DSP. I can, for now! Lol!

Preferably no smoking INSIDE the house please :) That's what the comfy outdoor undercover area is for :)
Description of pets
Domestic medium fluffball, 5 year old kitkat. Ahhh, she's so damn adorable, with black and white colouring. Desexed.

Once she gets used to a person, and if you're willing to let her warm up, and trust you - enjoy being rewarded with smooches, headbutts, and meows. Highly recommended. 5/5 would do again 💜
