Fully furnished 2-bedroom apartment in South Yarra. The apartment is up one flight of stairs in a 3-level block, and there's a covered car park tucked away at the back. There's been some repainting and repairs in recent years - all the essential features work fine and you can't help but find the "Galah" colour scheme in the bathroom kinda charming in a retro, kitsch way!

There's an old air con unit in the living room, but it doesn't do anything for the bedrooms. Still, if it's a scorcher outside, you can retreat to the living room for a bit of air con relief!

Fabulous location - it's so close to the city, and yet on a quiet street, situated between three huge parks. You can jog to the Tan Track in 2 minutes; or amble to St Kilda Rd's trams in the same amount of time. Shopping in Prahran is about 25 minutes away by foot, where you can choose Coles, Woolworths, the Prahran Market etc. Also, you can walk 25 minutes to swimming and sports at MSAC in Albert Park.

About occupants
I'm Matthew, I'm 49, and I'm working in media as an audio engineer and trainer. On most days, I'll work in the city. Some days I'll work from home at my desk in my bedroom, and sometimes I'd like to use the living room for work but I will try to restrict that to once per week.

Through my door, you might occasionally hear me working on audio or video projects. I keep the volume down and I don't work late. I love cooking and, once in a while, I'll have 1-2 friends over to share a dinner and a drink. I host a wine group of 4-5 people on a weekend afternoon once a month or so.

I regularly try to get out for a run on the Tan Track. I like to get around by foot, so you might even find me setting off to walk into the city. I do outdoors trips in Victoria, and also further afield in Australia.

Other than that, I'm interested in science, nature, conservation, arts, history and much more.
