Home Description

Description of the home

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for someone to move into a private bedroom in a beautiful and spacious 2 bed 1 bath Southbank apartment at City Road✨

You will be taking the lease over from my current housemate Hane, who is moving into a sharehouse with a bunch of her friends.

The house comes fully furnished (with a washer- dryer, massive 400 litre fridge, 55 inch tv, PS5, air fryer, utensils, and a lot more) except for your bedroom, so you just have to get your stuff here and you'll be good to go. The house is on the 21st floor and the balcony has the most beautiful view of the sea 🏖️

The building has a 24/7 concierge, a gym and a swimming pool, and is very well connected (tram and bus stops just outside the building), and Flinders and southern cross are both just a few tram stops away.

As for the logistics, Hane will be moving out on the 15th of April. The rent is $400 per week ($1738 pcm). The bond is $869 total and is to be paid directly to Hane (the person moving out). You will be going on the lease. You can feel free to inspect the house anytime during the week.

Feel free to reach out for further questions 😊

About occupants
You will be sharing the house with me. I am a Unimelb graduate, and recently quit my full time job to work on my own startup. I am 26, and would love to share the house with someone who is also in their mid 20s or 30s. Apart from work, I'm usually exploring the city with my friends or at the gym/cricket training sessions. I usually don't get a lot of time at home, but when I do, I love cooking, reading, and watching movies. Would love to be sharing with someone who I can get along well with and have the occasional drink/movie/talk with, but also respects the need for personal space. I occassionally have friends over, and would love for you to feel free to invite friends over too. The house will strictly not be a party house however.
Compatible people
Someone who has their own thing going and helps make the house feel like a home. A reliable and responsible person that I can count on to have my back and help with keeping the house clean and organised (you can expect the same from me). Someone I can have the occasional drink/chat with but who also respects the need for personal space.
Description of pets
Although I love pets, I don't have any and would prefer not to have any in the house for now as well.
