Other information
The room is a good size and comes mostly furnished (nicely furnished - it used to be a guest room for family). It won’t have a bed so if you have one that’s great, if not I’m happy to pick one up. There’s a chest of drawers, bedside tables, desk and big built in cupboard for clothes and storage. The north facing window let’s in heaps of light as the neighbouring building is a fair distance away.

Home Description

Description of the home

The house is a bit of a vibe! The living space is homely with a mid-century modern feel - lots of plants, high ceilings, wooden floorboards, cool furniture etc. Bathroom is clean and a decent size, but the star of the show is the back garden, which is a gem for this area!

The house is located on Westbury Street, St Kilda East, with the garden opening straight onto Alma Park East. There’s an outdoor gym in the park as well a Fitness First a two minute walk away. Windsor Station and Chapel Street with all its shops and bars are a short walk and the 64/5 tram stop to the city is at the end of the road. There’s unlimited on street parking right out front, too.

About the occupants
I’m an easy-going guy from the UK who keeps it pretty low key most of the time. I’ve been told I’m good to live with, I keep the place tidy and comfortable (apparently I have a strong feminine side!). I prefer living with women as I find guys a bit messy and testosteroney to share with.

I work 7-3.30pm as a gardener so usually tap out around 10pm on weeknights, spending evenings cooking with a glass of wine, listening to music, watching comedy or chilling in the garden.

I’m very respectful of people’s space and feelings. I love a good laugh and a decent chat, but also appreciate some quiet time. The house is great for socialising and I’m always keen to meet people, so you’re welcome to invite some good folk over to hang out occasionally!

I’m looking for someone who’s positive, chilled and tidy. If we share interests that’s a bonus. I have a pretty keen bullshit detector and really can’t live with anyone passive aggressive or pretentious. I’m only interested in genuine, open, kind people with a sense of humour. Open communication and self-awareness are really important when sharing a space.

You’ll be sharing the house with me and my two cats (and sometimes toy cavoodle!), so if you’re not into animals it probably won’t suit you. All the pet boys are super friendly and a delight to live with, so should be a bonus to the right person.

You’re welcome to get in touch with previous housemates for the lowdown on what it’s like to live with me. I can imagine the idea of living with a guy might be off putting for some (understandably), but they’ll put any concerns to rest.
Compatible people
I’m looking for someone who’s positive, funny and enjoys a decent conversation. If you’re into music and personal development that’s a bonus. Description of pets
Ziggy and George are the resident cats. Super friendly and independent. I also share custody of an adorable toy cavoodle, who’s here half the time.
