There is not a lot of storage space for the apartment (no garage or cage). Ideally suit someone with minimal storage requirements, but has own bed.

ROOM 2.5 x 3 (3.5 if the wardrobe wasn’t there)

You need to go on the lease which requires approval from my real estate, there is a renter transfer fee of $150 to get on the lease and also again to be removed. If no one taking over I will pay the removal.

The apartment (not your bedroom) is otherwise fully furnished, but if you have some things you want to contribute let me know and we can try work something out. I house-sit quite consistently elsewhere so if you want an apartment mostly to yourself then this may be for you. Pets aren't allowed (why I house/pet sit). Its a quiet location, with quiet neighbours (its next to the cemetery so some of the neighbours are dead!) therefore looking for someone who takes the party to other homes but your lifestyle is none of my business otherwise.

Its a 15 min walk to Chapel street and Carslisle street. Tram to city is a few mins walk on Dandenong Road, also takes you down to Chapel Street and Windsor Train station. Woolworths and post office in walking distance. Personally I love the location, its close to lots of action while still being in a quiet area.

Should mention it is 2nd floor, with stairs!

Bills and expenses

Happy to share costs 50/50 although I am away a fair bit unless it seems excessively high! No wifi at the moment but will get again if needed. Electricity & Gas is paid monthly and both are between $50-$100 for both depending on usage.

Hello I am Tanya, 41 year old currently working full time and studying part time. I do work from home 50% of the fortnight so 3/2 or 2/3 each week. Your bedroom was my home office but I have squeezed my desk into my room. Other than work I go to the gym daily before work, ride my pushy down the beach, catch up with friends for drinks and dinner every now and again. I don't mind a late night, sometimes into early morning, but at my age they are less frequent and planned carefully in advance. I have quite a successful side hustle pet and house sitting for friends and friends of friends so I actually don't live in the apartment all that consistently (hence it makes sense to share the space!). It is a bit hectic when I come home and need to do laundry.
Compatible people
Looking for someone similar, preferably a full time worker with a social life of their own that doesn't need to bring it home (its not really an entertaining space when we are both home). Both working from home can be difficult so if you don’t WFH that would be a win! While I want to get along with my flattie, as I am away a lot I won't have much to offer in the way of company (other than popping in to do some washing and unpack and repack a bag!). Inbetween house sits I would like to be able to have a chat and maybe a vino with you and not feel like we are in each others way which is hard as it’s not a massive apartment. When I am away I would hope you respect the privacy of my bedroom etc, but the rest of the place is yours to do as you wish as long as you keep it tidy.
