Description of the home

Our fantastic heritage home is located in Surrey Hills with large quaint front and back yards, a manicured garden, and plenty of places to sit back and soak up the serenity. We are a 3-minute drive to shopping and eating options in Camberwell, Balwyn, and Box Hill and a 5-minute walk to Union Rd, the heart of Surrey Hills, with its stylish cafes and boutique stores. A 10-15 minute walk from the 109 tram and Union train station. There is unlimited NBN internet access, reverse cycle air conditioning, a 2nd toilet (outside), and every kitchen appliance you could possibly need.

The room is medium-sized and currently has a wardrobe, and a double bed if you are an international student or don't have furniture, happy if new tenants prefer to bring their furniture. There is also a bungalow currently set up as a little exercise studio/gym.

We are two easy-going, friendly, single guys, Adrian in his mid-40s and Steve in his mid-50s (both young at heart :P ). Adrian is a full-time graduate psychology student at Deakin, and Steve is a nurse working in aged care. We tend to be a quiet and respectful house, not party animals, and rarely have guests. We also have Hector the cat, our supreme overlord, so no more pets, sorry (unless it lives in a tank/cage). LGBTIQ+ friendly/preferred, if you have any other questions feel free to ask, the room is available now, the 8th of each month is when we pay the rent.
