Are you looking for a new community minded home in a quiet Melbourne suburb? CASA DE LANA may be just the home for you. Great quiet location between the beautiful merry creek river trail and Ceres Environmental park and the bustle of Thornbury / Northcote Highstreet full of great cafes, bars and organic grocers.

You’d be living with myself, an easy going Scottish fella. I work part time as a healer supporting others to know and heal themselves and part time as a TV screenwriter - basically following my heart and supporting others to do the same. Week to week I like to go to ecstatic dance, play soccer, ride my bike, go nature walks, do community based social events and workshops and lose to Jon at ping pong.

You’d also be living with Jon. A beautiful big hearted man from the woods of New York, in transition from his 9 to 5 into something more heart lead. A walker of the sacred plant medicine path, he’s interested in attending and facilitating men’s groups, ecstatic dance, organic living, sharing love and laughter with everyone he meets and beating me at ping pong.

MJ, a breathwork facilitator and all round lovely woman moves in soon too.

Together we like to host weekly dinner parties or larger social gatherings every now and again where I might run a workshop or invite others to do the same. We’re big on making this a community spirit home where all our beautiful friends new and old feel comfortable stopping by to say hi or join us for some tea, food, a movie or even hosting something at our place - we have a self-inclosed granny flat, which doubles as an office and workshop space.

We have created a home full of love and ease and we want more like-minded and open hearted people to join us. We are looking for people who are comfortable speaking their truth and are not avoidant of their feelings. CASA DE LANA is a home of acceptance - we love talking things out if there any stickiness arises so we can better understand and love one another. We are interested in people who love to share themselves and their heart, whether that’s through regular hangs and conversation, shared meals or bringing their own magic and gifts to the table.

You would not be a guest, you would be like family and for that reason we are looking for people who are committed to creating a shared vision for an ideal house with us and contributing equally to make that vision a reality so we can enjoy love, fun, magic, ease and authenticity in.
