My name is Laura, and I am 35. I am looking for 2 female housemates. I’m weird, easy-going, friendly, and kind. I attach great importance to honesty and trust. I lean more towards rational as opposed to emotional, and like open and honest communication. I am originally from the UK (so I love good banter - sensitive humans may not want to apply) and have lived in Perth since 2014.

I am currently at Curtin Uni doing a very drawn-out and slightly soul-destroying PhD, and I hope to be finished by the end of this year *Hallelujah*. In my spare time I like to do anything creative and crafty, the most recent being polymer clay jewellery, drawing and painting. I am also a self-taught tattoo artist (another hobby), so there is a mini studio set up in the lounge room. However, I am more than happy to move the chair into the garage to free up space if needed.

I am a non-smoker, but I do vape. I very much enjoy drinking beer but would describe myself as a hermit crab; I generally don’t go to pubs or clubs. I am addicted to movies. I am vegan and gluten-free, but there are no judgments or restrictions on what anyone eats. Home life is happy, easy-going, and mostly quiet except for my playing Rock music and occasional singing outbursts.

I am a gentle parent to a beautiful 6yo little man. He is loud at times, full of play, mischief, and cheek, but all in all he is well behaved has a kind and caring nature. He loves football and has the freakish ability to beat almost anyone at Mario Kart. He lives with me 3 days per week. His days are set, so things are pretty scheduled regarding when he will be around.

I have 2 beautiful Cane-Corso (Italian Mastiffs), Teddie (5yo Female) and Cimmarien (4yo Male), who are a very important part of my little family. They are fantastic with children and love human company. They spend most of their time inside, either following you around or sleeping. They are big, black and beautiful. At first glance, they look scary, but after 30 seconds in their company, you will see they have a beautiful nature. They have a lot of love to give (maybe a little too much), and if you let them, they will snuggle up next to you or sit on you so you can't go anywhere. However, if you need space, they are well-trained and will go to their bed when told. They are protective of ‘their humans’ (you will be included) and bark if anyone comes near the house (you can definitely sleep safely at night), but once a person is let in the house by someone they trust, they are good. Teddie is smart and serious. She is always on the lookout for any immediate dangers and believes it is her life’s mission to protect her family, so be prepared for ongoing wellness checks whereby she finds where you are in the house, checks you are alive and then leaves. Cimmerian, is a big carefree buffoon. He is inquisitive and silly and will use his sad eye trick to get extra pats when you have told him to go to his bed.
