Home Description

Description of the home

At the end of Maroochydore, near the boat ramp, the place is about 1km walk from Big Top. There is public transport behind the building.

Kitchen is well laid out, I cook a fair bit so there is pretty much everything there. The house is fully furnished, including the bedroom which has it's own TV, a king bed and linen.

The building is a 3 storey walk up, with half the building as an additional rooftop. Still haven't got around to furnishing it, but the plan is a pizza oven and a hammock.

Parking is across the street in the untimed parking.

At the moment the place is available until the end of March, but may be longer by negotiation.

About the occupants
Craig, 46, own an accounting firm and also a hospitality venue down at Mooloolaba. Work 50 to 60 hours a week, generally work out of the office but do a day or two a week from home. I usually travel to Brisbane at least once a week and am away at least once every three weeks for a few days at a time, the dog travels with me most of the time.

I'll get the big thing out of the way, my partner passed away in early April and I'm still adapting to normality and to find my identity, it has been a challenging experience and things are still not what I am used to. Relocated to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane a few months ago to clear my head and loving it.
Compatible people
Social is critical but an ability to read the room is amazing.

Happy to have someone reliable in the house and that can walk the dog occasionally would be perfect.

I generally eat at the venue but a social meal would be great.
Description of pets
Aphrodite is a 12 year old Kelpie / mastiff, exceptionally well behaved, friendly and getting a bit slow. She is pretty self sufficient but loves company, so will always be close (especially if I am not at home). Loves a walk but is struggling as she is getting older.

She has a grassed area on the balcony and is really well trained. She is a bit of a talker and will get pushy if she needs to go downstairs.
