About the occupants
About me: I'm a 52 yr old English IT professional, working from home full time (my 'office' is in my bedroom). I'm pretty laid back, not a party animal (anymore - except on special occasions) and enjoy a quiet, relaxed life for the most part. I do lots of reading, some casual gaming, and like to get some time at the beach at weekends, or head up to Noosa to see friends, or down to Brisbane to see my brother. I like good food and good wine (who doesn't though?!) and enjoy cooking nice dinners sometimes. I'm clean & tidy (especially for a guy) and clean up after myself when I'm cooking. Most evenings I'll chill out with the cats and read a book, or watch some TV if there's anything good on.
Compatible people
Looking for someone quiet and respectful with good cat management skills who wants a chilled place to live with great views, great facilities and good access to beaches, hinterland, transport etc. If you're interested hit me up and you can come & see the place, meet the cats and we'll go for a drink in the pub for a chat.
Description of pets
I have two young cats, which are very sweet-natured, great fun and very cute, but they're absolutely not allowed out of the flat (resort rules, plus they could easily go walkabout and get run over) so careful management of doors and windows is required. If you're at all absent-minded about things like that, please don't apply. Plus also it means there's a litter tray in the apartment (in the laundry) so you'll need to be ok with that. I clean it out regularly so it doesn't smell. Previous cat owners preferred for those reasons. I lock them out of my room at night because they keep me awake, but you're welcome to let them sleep on your bed if you like (and you don't mind being used as an assault course at 3am).
