Home Description

Description of the home

We have a lovely room available in a freestanding, single-story, 3-bedroom house in Enmore. The room is 3.75 x 2.9 meters, offering plenty of space for a queen bed, desk, and a cozy yoga corner. It features built-in wardrobes, high ceilings, picture rails, and a window with dappled light—ideal for indoor plants. The room is tucked away from the street, next to the bathroom and kitchen.

Location:
The house is in an unbeatable spot! A 2-minute walk to Enmore Road, where you'll find buses, cafes, dumplings, gigs, and a range of local bars, breweries, and pubs. Newtown Station is less than a 10-minute walk away, and there are plenty of gyms and grocery stores nearby. Parking is free on one side of the street, with timed parking on the other.

We're trying to be good humans so keep a somewhat sustainable home. We do WGAC, green energy, recycle what we can, etc. Rent is fortnightly, bills are split evenly (internet, gas, electric, water) and we have a fortnightly cleaner to keep busy lives easy.

About the occupants
You'll be sharing the house with two friendly housemates:
- Adrianna: A 32-year-old english teacher who, when not marking, enjoys chatting over olives, shitting on bad films, critiquing art shows and adding to her reading pile.
- Tom: A surprisingly youthful (read as 43-year-old) songwriter and public servant who works on songs, goes to the gym and collects wine to pour for his near and dear.
Compatible people
We’re looking for someone who’s easygoing, around our ages, and ready to contribute to a positive, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere. We’re not vegetarians, but we’ve had a good mix of housemates, including a few vegans and vegos. We're queer-friendly, left-leaning, and enjoy catching up at the end of the day.
