Description of the home

The house is a lovely 2 bedroom terrace in the heart of Erskineville. You will be sharing with one female housemate in her early 30's.

Fully equipped house with air conditioning, washing machine, dryer, large smart TV, dish washer, stainless steel appliances and (two!) fridges. Floorboards throughout and modern, renovated bathroom and kitchen. There is also a pleasant and reasonably sized courtyard/garden at the back with a nice leafy outlook. The location is great - a short walk to Erskineville and Newtown stations, but still on a quiet street. Untimed on-street parking is available.

The other current housemate is relocating for work, initially for 6 months but potentially longer term, so a transfer of half the lease for an ongoing stay may be possible. She will stay for weekends on the odd occasion with her two tiny doggos, utilising the attic space. Looking for a friendly, respectful housemate who will also see this as their home. To be transparent, we'll just need to provide your contact details to the real estate. Unfortunately we can't accept pets.

The room will be available from 25th March so we are hoping to find someone to move in that week but can be a little flexible. All utilities are included in the rent, which is to be paid two weeks in advance by bank transfer. Reach out for a chat and an inspection if you're interested or have any questions! I love a good chat and in equal amount I love to hermit. I adore coffee, going for brunch and the neighbourhood walks to said coffee and brunch. I've also recently fallen in love with ice skating.
I enjoy a pretty healthy lifestyle - I love my yoga in the early morning and love cooking delicious meals regularly. Preparing a meal for others is a bit of a love language of mine so I'll offer meals here and there but also happy to do our own thing with food generally.

I'm currently in job transition to move out of hospitality/retail and into some customer service admin and also about to begin a study journey in the mental health field. You can also find me getting amongst the village vibes working at the Carriage works Farmers Market every Saturday morning.
