The room also has an optional undercover car space in the secure lock-up garage - should you need a car space. There's heaps of storage and built-in laundry room. We pay the rent monthly and all chuck in an extra bit each month to cover the bills (not reflected in the weekly price). That makes it $1480 all bills inclusive and other household bulk products.

Description of the home

We have a large and airy apartment on the 7th floor in Forest Lodge. We have two balconies, in which one is yours to choose what you do with it. Our home is fully furnished, however, if you have a couch or other items, it is welcome to come. We also have a huge storage cage in the bottom of the building, where your optional secure car spot is. You'd be sharing a bathroom, but with only one other person who is very neat and tidy. We have modern kitchen features in our galley kitchen and plenty of space to entertain!

We are super close to the Tramsheds precinct which is about 5 minutes away at a dawdle. On foot, we are 10 minutes from Glebe Point road; 10 minutes from Parramatta Road; 20 minutes to Newtown and Rozelle. If riding the public transport routes is your thing, we are on bus lines and tram lines from all major roads and can get you anywhere from the city to inner west or Parramatta to Eastern suburbs easily. If you like to run, we are right on Black wattle bay, and if you hate to run we have plenty of bars, restaurants, and pubs close by.

We pay the rent monthly and throw in extra so it equals $1480/month including bills and household stuff

Bills and expenses

Bills are split equally. We throw in extra money each month to the rent to cover the bills like internet, electricity, rates/water, as well as, household things such as detergent, washing powder, loo paper, cleaning products and whatever else is going like the butter and sauce. This means you'll never have to fork out for the bill when it comes.

Lady number 1: 34 year old School teacher who loves to go to gigs, galleries and be out and about on the weekends. Adventurous and outdoorsy without being a fanatic. Works Monday to Friday.

Lady number 2: 24-year-old working at a creative agency in the office Mon-Wed and wfh Thurs & Fri. Loves to go out and explore Syd and catch up with friends, having moved from Adelaide a year ago.

We are both pretty open minded and don't care if you are straight, gay, bi, male, female or not specific.

Responsible and respectful, Interested and courteous (sounds like what a teacher would say). Clean (as if you'd want a dirty person). Up for good banter (who likes dull people) but knows when it's quiet time (who likes obnoxious people). We don't care if you love reality TV or a good doco, as we are partial to the sway of it.
