"The Florence" room is a beautiful bed room with a beautiful hand painted mural on the feature wall, that is much better appreciated in person as is the home. The piece puts the room in a balcony view overlooking a courtyard with all the iconic building deconstructed from old Florence. The room comes with a master king bed, a cupboard, a large wardrobes, a bed side, table, chair, shelves and much more. The room has been loved by any and all who have stayed or even seen it, like the home. A must consider :)

Our 'Arthouse' has the themed large beautiful 'Florence' room available for Long term!
A great deal for someone wanting a uniquely beautiful comfy large bed room in a happy social home of comforts and beauty along with awesome people in it! Beautiful rooms in a double brick solid home with all modern luxurious interior with everything provided almost like a motel but to the contrast, very homely. The house is covered in inspiring art pieces, influences and modifications by the in-house Artist. The home has everything you could want in a house made much more by the wonderful people in it. All rooms feature sealed unique art works, providing all the beauty and none of the worries. Our home is arguably second to none in beauty, provision and comfort, and would easily be in the top of any list!

The room comes fully furnished like the house has everything you could want that people fall in love with when they see it.

2 large luxurious living spaces: an awesome living room and a natural sanctuary backyard, 2 toilets/bathrooms, 2 showers, a bath and an awesome Art modified breezy balcony. We do not suffer any of the cliché shared house problems. We have found the ideal number of people and maintain it below it though the large home could fit more people. The home is in a hideaway, uniquely quiet, tranquil area of Maroubra; still within walking distance of everything. The backyard project that has progressed into a nice greenhouse sanctuary. There is Platinum Foxtel connected to the large main living room/ dining with Large tv with surround system in the lounging area and unlimited internet available through fastest Hub / NBN Netgear WIfi 5Hz booster router in the market. There is an awesome BBQ in the under cover backyard, and a very cool balcony literally and metaphorically.

The house is few metres from the bus stop and down the street from Maroubra Junction: within metres of amazing Hefron Park with everything relating to training and sports, Aquatics centre, Cafes and Restaurants, Eastgardens shopping centre, Pacific square, minutes from the Beaches, NSW uni and city.

The people are most crucial to a happy home. We have continued to have amazing group of people here. Basically looking for people who are chill: easy going and open minded are considerate, respectful and self-sufficient. The housemates, as is typical, are long-termers loving the place until their next major phase of life. We have all stayed good friends, some even close friends for life. There is a real feel and sense of family within us. While each can and does their own thing, we are very much a social house where someone is always doing something with another. We have a good healthy balance of enjoying ourselves in each other’s company whilst respecting our private lives, busy lives and work. The unique house set up also allows for space, quite and privacy as needed in spaces other than your room also. Arthouse cook-ups, Movie nights, binge nights, bbqs avos/evenings, board game nights, drink-ups and occasional ‘event’ house parties, festival trips, camping are all regular in our busy but balanced life of the happy crew. You just join in whatever you want to, as we do. We are a motley collective of interests, jobs and pursuits in life. We are Aussies with interesting variety of heritage; France, Malta, Hawaii, English and Sri-Lanka. We are a baker, an organic food agent, a psychologist, Gymnastic coach, teacher, healer and artist in occupation collective. More importantly, we are open minded considerate kind beings who love to enjoy life and are great to live among.

I myself had spent most of my adult life running children services, community programs, and a Charity of Australia, even winning the 'Pride of Australia' medal. Now as part of my next phase of life I am happy seeing good people enjoying a home that the love of art built, while I do other Art and things. I have my own partitioned space and home in the property and do not share in your household. You have a whole home including front and backyard to use. However I'm conveniently around to fix things when something needs to keep the home sailing along smoothly :) My uniquely applied knowledge of voluntary caring environments has the place running smoothly. This works easily given the considerate people within, all experiencing conflict free and enjoyable stay in this beautiful home.
