About the occupants
Hello! I’m Mathew, I’m 27 and a full-time music teacher at a nearby school. I’ve been occupying it by myself for a month, but am now looking for a roommate to share it with!

My friends would describe me as easy-going, friendly and independent. I like being with people, and also need my time to recharge too.

On weekdays, I’ll be waking up at 5:30 to go to a gym class before heading to work. My hours can be fairly long (8-6 most days), so I do not often cook…but I have a beautiful kitchen for someone else who enjoys it! I enjoy relaxing at night and watching Netflix, and going to bed around 11. I’m home most weeknights but during term time I’ll often work late.

On weekends or school holidays you’ll find me out with friends, playing kickball, going for a walk or to the gym, or just enjoying some downtime at home by doom-scrolling or playing some video games.
Compatible people
I’m looking for a friendly, respectful and tidy housemate who is ideally a working full time professional.

‍I'm a social person, but I also need my alone time. I want the home to be a place where I can have people over, but not a place that's constantly full of people. I'm open to the idea of my roommates hosting small parties - I would just like to know about these ahead of time.

I'm down to get to know each other; I'm not saying we have to be best friends, but I would like to do things like occasionally watch TV together and host meals with friends. If you're open to the idea of sharing a meal together every once in a while, we're probably a good fit.

I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I'm open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organised.

The place comes mostly furnished in the common areas, so I’m looking for someone who doesn’t have heaps of stuff.
