Description of the home
Looking for the ultimate home during the coronavirus lockdown and afterwards? You've come to the right place! We're happy to do any inspections over video chat :)
We have a classic Victorian 3-bedroom terrace house on a quiet street between the leafy suburbs of Paddington and Darlinghurst. It is in a prime location within walking distance of all that Oxford St, Kings Cross, Darlinghurst, Five Ways, and Surry Hills have to offer. And in this lockdown, it has easy access to shops and supermarkets for groceries and takeaway! :)
On top of that, the house is only one minute's walk from the nearest bus stop which takes you to Bondi or CBD within 10 minutes. 10 minutes walk will also get you to Kings Cross train station which takes you to the rest of Sydney. If you get sick of being holed up at home during lockdown you can also go for lovely walks around the pretty surrounding neighbourhoods or the local parks (Rushcutters Bay is just 10 min walk away).
The common areas are fully furnished and include an open and spacious dining area, living room, and a full gas kitchen. There's also a yard at the back of the house for relaxing in the sun or hanging out your laundry. There's a main shared bathroom with a second toilet in the laundry, and so far no issues with toilet paper!
For your working at home needs, we recently upgraded to NBN and have a large dining table that gets plenty of natural light if you prefer to get out of your room. It's worked for us so far!
On-street parking is available through the council, and there's almost always a spot available in front of the house.

You'll be joining a laid back house of 3 young professionals who are super easy-going :). We mostly do our own thing but will provide solid banter if needed to prevent cabin fever, especially over some food and drink.
My boyfriend Max and I are a couple in our late twenties from Sydney, with Max working as a data analyst and myself working in tech. Outside of work we like to chill at home with a good movie, book, or conversation around the living room in our downtime. In non-quarantine times you can also find us out socialising or working on our hobbies such as improv comedy or salsa dancing. We love to have a yarn and a laugh, and are not afraid to get a bit geeky with board games or video games.
Our other flatmate is Kat from the UK, she is in her early 30s and a Civil Engineer in the city. She is super friendly and normally likes to get out and about for some socialising (now virtual) or going to the gym (now at home) but is equally comfortable at home watching the latest binge TV with a home cooked meal.
