Home Description

Description of the home

Room available from 1 July for 3 months.

My wonderful housemate is returning overseas, so we're looking for someone who wants to join our vibey, friendly house. The home is a renovated 3-bedroom terrace house in the heart of Surry Hills. It’s in an incredible location: a quiet area of the neighbourhood and super close to public transport - 7 min walk to Central Station and close to light rail and buses. The house is footsteps from grocers, cafes, bars, parks, gyms, and dining.

Some features:
- common areas are furnished and all bedroom furniture is available to buy
- renovated kitchen, dishwasher, gas stoves, high ceilings
- private courtyard and garden is a sunny oasis to hang out in when the weather’s nice
- quiet one-way street setting (can get a resident parking permit if necessary for a reasonable price from council)
- friendly neighbours.

Home features

  • Dishwasher
  • Clothes washer
  • Courtyard, garden or yard

Bills and expenses

We split bills equally - gas and electricity come in quarterly, and internet is $50 a month for the whole house.

About occupants
Moodi is a 34 year old working in government policy. You’ll find him chilling with a book, heading to the park, or out with friends.

Pierre is in his mid 20s and recently got sponsored after a couple years on a working visa! He's from France and loves making the most of Australia.

It’s a friendly, laid-back household. Cooking-wise, we do our own meals but occasionally cook together or head out for local dinner nights.
Compatible people
Looking for easygoing, people who are tidy and responsible and ideally working full-time. Someone who is friendly and enjoys hanging out over dinner or a drink, but is also respectful of a quiet household during the week. We love having friends over occasionally so you’re welcome to join and socialise every now and then. Sorry, not looking for couples.
