Home Description
Description of the home
10y.o old two-storey townhouse in the 'Divercity' complex at Waterloo. Floorboards throughout, with your own (main) bathroom, also a Powder room downstairs. Fully furnished (except bedroom). Apartment is on the ground floor so it has its own entrances - no lifts! Tandem carparks are about 20m from apartment on the same level. There's also lock-up bike storage. Generally nice and quiet surrounds, a little less so in warmer months, but as in all apartments, people entertain, but on the whole, it's surprisingly quiet.
QE Foodstore, cafe, gym, and bottle shop in the complex. Walking distance to East Village / cafes / buses / trains / city and surrounds.

Bills and expenses
Gas / Electricity / Water split 3 ways per quarter. We’re pretty energy conscious. Most recent bills: Gas - $75 each / Electricity - $135 each / Water $60 each >>>> so that's, $270 in total over the quarter. ** Indicative only, and might vary slightly seasonally.

At weekends I catch up on TV, with friends for a meal / movie / walk / theatre etc. Not averse to the occasional big night, but it's not a priority these days :-) Generally pretty independent, but it's good to have some interaction with my housemate, but I also recognise people like their space, and that's important.
My partner, Zag, is a Remedial Massage Therapist working at Woolloomooloo and the CBD. He works between 4 - 6 days a week, plus 1 day studying offsite. We're both fully vaccinated (and hopefully you are too).
We do our own meal prep but it's nice to share a meal from time-to-time. We're neat / tidy around the house and the same in a housemate is an absolute must. TV-wise, I enjoy primarily ABC / SBS / Fox History, Lifestyle, Docos / AppleTV / Netflix....oh and Gogglebox lol! Am interested in politics (left-leaning), travel, etc per previously outlined.
Someone happy to catch up from time to time for a meal / drink / night out / TV, and can carry on a conversation. Common sense is a plus :-)
Tidy around the house and respects it. Can communicate, is responsible, and helps out with cleaning etc. It's a clean and easy place to live in.
